Got caught off guard by an illness in the family and I was very worried about moving all my belongings from CPT to JHB on such short notice. Robyn was so understanding and accommodating and made me feel so much better about the entire process with their efficient and empathetic communication. I will definitely be using JHB Removals services again in 2027 when its time to move again!

What a delightful experience. The team manoeuvred their large truck through my complex and did not bump a thing. Then the same respect was shown to my newly renovated home when they unloaded my items, They did not touch 1 of my freshly painted walls they were careful and respectful, what a pleasant experience.

My husband and I were very nervous about moving our furniture from Cape Town back to Pretoria after a terrible experience moving down to Cape Town two years ago. However, JHB Removals made the experience so pleasant with their constant communication and efficient service. They were incredibly accommodating in getting us our preferred moving dates on short notice and their teams arrived on time for both pick-up and delivery. The movers handled all of our stuff with care and nothing was damaged on delivery. We will happily recommend JHB Removals for any moving needs.

I recently used JHB Removals for my move.
Communication was easy and clear from my first website quote request.
Arrangements were made for them to arrive ar 9am, the driver let me know by 7:30 that they will arrive by 8:30.
All items was neatly covered and strapped in their blankets ant tape. Within an hour all items were loaded and by 10am everything was safely transported and delivered at the new apartment.
Friendly staff, efficient and competent to do what needs to be done.
I can highly recommend the company.

I am writing this review with an immense sense of gratitude and relief. Two days before my scheduled move from Pretoria to Gordons Bay, another removal company callously dropped me, leaving me in a state of panic.

In my desperation, I reached out to both JHB Removals and Legends Removals. Robyn from JHB Removals was incredibly understanding and worked tirelessly to find a solution. She then connected me with Michael and Cynelle from Legends Removals.

Michael was an absolute hero. He calmly assessed my situation and, against all odds, crafted a seamless plan to get my furniture collected and moved. He has scheduled the pickup for tomorrow, and I have complete faith that my belongings will arrive safely in Gordons Bay next week.

The compassion, efficiency, and professionalism shown by Robyn, Michael, and Cynelle during such a stressful time were nothing short of exceptional. They didn't just take on a job; they provided a solution and peace of mind when I needed it most. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them more highly. If you need a removal company you can truly trust, look no further!

I am very happy that we chose Jhb Removals for my son's move from Johannesburg to Cape Town. I appreciated their pricing model, which I didn't get from other removal companies. A shuttle service was actually required for the collection due to the narrow and winding driveway, but as I was able to get everything to the gate myself, I was able to save a couple of thousand Rand that a shuttle service would have cost.
The truck had gearbox trouble on the way to Cape Town, resulting in them not being able to deliver on the promised date. These things can happen, but what I appreciated was a direct call from the driver to explain the problem. A new delivery date was agreed to, that fitted into my son's schedule, and they arrived on time as promised. The other great aspect was that Robyn communicated with us throughout the time that the truck was delayed and so, even with the delay, I will still give them a 5 star rating for the whole experience and the service that they offered.
